That's the part of IP management I'm still not 100% certain on. On legal-discuss we did get permission to include CC-BY icons as long as we mention it in NOTICE. The MD5 code is also Category A I think so theoretically we can do the same, but I still think Roy says no to storing it in the repo without donation forms.
