Hi all,

with the announcement of Made In Flex rebirth, the spanish unofficial flex
community, http://www.madeinflex.com , there was a proposal made by Om to
translate the FlexJS article.
I suggest that a better approach could be to make a global community
implementing multiple language support on the site.

Thinking about it I proposed the following points:

* Implement the multi language in the site and translate the things in the
interface not translated to english (most of this is already done since
it's WP site and only need the language plugin. I'm thinking in WPML plugin
as well)
* Make the actual site go to /es and setup 301 redirections to avoid broken
links
* The rest of languages will go to its corresponding prefix (en,fr,de,...)
* Community part only will need interface translation (already most of this
is done)

Something more?

The point is any article could be translated to other languages and people
could choose the language they want to read, learn and share. Community
relations will be made as per person since they will use the language they
want and be confortable with.

The technical aspects could be done in few days, but to make it work we'd
need people to help

I see an opportunity to make people engage the technology and eventually
help with actual SDK, FlexJS and so on

Take into account that this site is unofficial community since and all
important things still happens here. But this site is to promote and spread
the word and help people to enter Flex world and love the technology.

I want to know what do you think about it, and if you like the idea, if
someone want to help to launch it. In this case I think we need people for
each language we want to expose.

Thanks in advance and hope you like it
