Same problem here… Even when the locale configuration is changed. In fact my mac it's configured with the locale "en_US" by default…. (MacBook Pro, Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013, 2,3 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB, OS X 10.9.1)
