Any fix is just a revert away - that's the great thing about version.  I've 
made plenty of mistakes so I wouldn't be concerned  about breaking stuff :-)

If you supply a fix that isn;t perfect that's also good and other people get to

We can match patches from pull requests easily enough. There is some new github 
integration released by infra a few months back but I've not had a chance to 
look at it and we've had very few pull requests.
