Hi, as far as I understoof Alex most of the stuff is needed in order to make FlashBuillder happy. Even if the compiler libs may have been replaced to 90%, the rest oft he framework (client side swfs and swcs are still needed).
Perhaps I should speed up my efforts to making the maven deployment of Flex independent from Flash and Air so we can publish Flex to Maven-Central as we then could download each file independently from Maven-Central (Even from an Ant script). As Flex is Apache license could be grab the binary and take the few files(?) we need from that? Not that I think this is an issue for 0.0.1 but maybe something to consider down the track.
