You was right but that's confusing what cache folder is used when it has not been manually set by the user, I didn't change it, the "Cache downloaded file" was selected, the text input was blank but clicking the browse button was showing what seems to be a valid path for the cache, I naturally thought it was the default one.
Can't it be set by default ? I tried selecting it and it worked fine.
