I just ran the tests.  To help you see bitmap differences, you can run
from the mustella directory
    ant imagediff

This should build and run the imagediff tool.  Navigate to the
mustella/tests/gumbo/components/RichEditableText folder then select “Find
Images”.  Then hit Ctrl-A to select everything in the list and choose
“Compare Selected Images”.

What I see are some differences in what is probably paragraph separation.
It might be easier to look that the MXML for the testSWF and the script
and build yourself a little test case in FB and then debug it.
