Yeah, that is not really a convincing argument ;-) A 'maybe' promise
for support, only if it isn't inconvenient...

And:

I wasn't aware Apache Flex has customers... Adobe does, but Adobe
can't have it both ways.

Also, again, it is really easy to switch FP/AIR versions using the
Installer and the build scripts, so no forcing is going on.

Finally, I believe it is industry standard to make the latest,
greatest and securest the default and update at every possibility.
