Ok ... so things seem to be a little different this time. So we should submit any papers as soon as the CFP opens next week. after those papers are submitted we can suggest a track on the ApacheCon list, I'd take care of that :-)
So how about we do the submissions a little coordinated? I'd be submitting these: - Building Flex applications with Maven (With a focus on the flex-sdk-converter) - BlazeDS - Frontend-Testing Flex applications with Selenium - FlexUnit (If none else wants to) - FlexPMD (If none else wants to and if I get it working ;-) ) So who else would be willing to come to the ApacheCon EU and willing to submit a/some talk(s)? We'd definitely need someone on FlexJS ... Justin? ... I'd love someone talking about IoC containers for Flex, Game-Development would be good ... As we are competing against a lot of BigData talks ... how about a talk about the Charting capabilities of Flex? Just some suggestions. I can only say ApacheCons are not only interesting, but also a lot of fun. If it's the costs you are worried about, you can always apply for the Apache travel assistance which might even pay for the entire trip (At least for my first ApacheCon they paid for Flight and Hotel in Denver ... :-) ) ... And last not least, they are great for meeting with other members ob the project. I loved meeting Justin, Alex, Hun, Maxim, and several others the last few times. The Hotel in Budapest is sensational :-) Chris ________________________________________ Von: Christofer Dutz <christofer.d...@c-ware.de> Gesendet: Montag, 20. I'm on the list since this morning ... that's where I got the idea about the Flex Track ;-) ________________________________________ Von: Alex Harui <aha...@adobe.com> Gesendet: Montag, 20. (Removing the 360 Flex from the subject as we are back to talking about ApacheCon Europe) @Chris (and anyone else planning to submit talks for Budapest), You might want to subscribe to the apachecon-discuss or at least read the posts from today. It sounds like track selection criteria is changing again. -Alex On 4/20/15, 1:36 PM, "Christofer Dutz" <christofer.d...@c-ware.de> wrote: >If we were to propose for a track, we would also need to fill it with >content. >Are there other people willing to submit any talks? > >I would probably submit stuff to the followig topics: >- BlazeDS >- Flex PMD (If I get some more work on this done) >- FlexUnit >- Testing Flex with Selenium Webdriver >and of course: >- Building Flex applications with Maven :-) >eventually: >- FlexJS & Falcon > >Would be cool if there were some people here that could cover stuff like >this: >- FlexJS >- Mobile Development >- Game Development >- IoC Frameworks >- Stuff on our sub-projects that haven't been mentioned (OSMF, TLF, >Squiggly) > >I think stuff like the Game Development and Mobile Apps development could >generate some traction. > >Chris > > >________________________________________ >Von: omup...@gmail.com <omup...@gmail.com> im Auftrag von OmPrakash >Muppirala <bigosma...@gmail.com> >Gesendet: Montag, 20.
