The problem is that the DMG and EXE files for the Installer *are* the binary release. EXE and DMG files are not archives so you can’t just pack L & N into them. Packing up L & N into the .air file that becomes EXE or DMG doesn’t make them that discoverable as Justin points out. I’ve asked on legal-discuss and Roy’s first response is that an EXE or DMG file should also have L & N, but he did not offer any recommendations on how to package it, so I’ve asked for that again, and verification that an application is considered a “derivative work” per the AL or more importantly for BSD. Doing the RC is still behind trying to get Mike’s JS.swc in the FlexJS Nightly and refactoring the Installer source for the Git-Split. Maybe we’ll get an answer by then otherwise I think I’ll just rename the “Disclaimer” link button to “Legal Stuff” and add the L & N to the web page it points to. -Alex
