Well, my counter arguments would be: 1) This is still a beta. 2) IMO, the vast majority of our users don’t use the source release, they use the binary via the installer or installer.xml What do others think? And if you agree, what would you consider the valid starting point: A) Is it fair to require that someone have Ant already? B) Or Java? C) AIR and Flash are considered build prerequisites, so I would think the source package build should not have to automate their installation. D) Is it reasonable to require that to build the falcon source package that you download and unpack the flexjs binary and set an environment variable to point to it? And the same for flexjs: (download the falcon binary package unpack it and set two environment variables to point to it? If that doesn’t work already, it is probably a matter of a day or two to make that work. Thanks, -Alex
