Well, I picked this date because it is easier for me. I wasn't expecting lots of folks to fly in from far away, which is why we may do similar events in other regions, but you never know. How long were you planning to stay in North America in May? It might be possible to have a Seattle-based event on the Monday following ApacheCon although I was thinking of hosting Seattle in July/August when the weather is better. I think you can take the train from Vancouver to Seattle for about $50. But first, we need to see how the San Francisco event goes. So far, nobody has said they are interested in attending, although I did send this after west coast business hours. ;) -Alex
