I think the idea of recruit corporations to get some fundings is brilliant, but I think people would want to have some way to "believe" that could be possible. If we really believe this is possible, and have some way to defend the idea to potential investors, I think it could be done. As you said, there's many corporations out there wanting to port all Flex(Flash) applications to HTML5/Javascript.
