What harm would there be done by this? IMO, it would not be the correct thing to do. The resulting externs format output is either not a derivative of the original functionality, or every line is derived by ASF committers, depending on how you look at it. Their implementation or a functional derivative is not included in the artifact. Thanks, -Alex
