The purpose of the Mobile project was to provide code that works mainly with either Cordova or AIR. Some components were meant to mimic iOS or Android (which I am not familiar with at all) such as the Stacked and Tabbed view navigators. Other components are typically found on mobile devices and might have native equivalents. Some of the components could probably live in the general population.
We don't have a link button yet, so that would still need to be done.
