Okay, I updated the installer.xml in the flex-sdk repository. Here is the commit diff. If someone wants to do a code review, the changes are from Lines 411 to 470 in the new file. In sdk-installer-config-4.0.xml, for the new SDK entries, I don't know where to get the cacheID and cacheID2 properties. 2. I have tested the installer.xml changes on Ant. They work well for both tbz2 and dmg files. But I have not been able to test it out with the Apache Flex Installer. I couldn't figure out how to test the modified installer.xml without making an actual release of the flex-sdk binaries. Can someone else take these two tasks? After tonight, I wont be able to get on this for at least a week.
