Hi Chris, I just dig into that and have some solution, but not sure whether it is correct.
In PropertyWatcher class we have function updateProperty. If "source" is available we are trying to apply value from source, but if I correct understand sometimes the "getterFunction" is our source. If getter function for some reason is throwing an error we should set null to value.
