I guess I don't fully understand.  Aren't lots of people using MDL Dialog?

I don't think inject_html knows how to include a separate .js file in the
output.  Any scripts referenced have to have URLs somewhere else.  That
could be changed, but doesn't work the way I think you want it to work
right now.

Looks like BSD 3-clause to me, which is ok to use.
