Peter, to complement what Piotr said. MDL uses the js and css libs from google so as you click on the object I'm sure MDL handles it's own click (I assume that but didn't go low level to check it since we are creating MDL based on the structure they suggest, so with the tools they give). I think something like this should happen with CreateJS or ReactJS when you did your FlexJS integration?
