I never said that I wanted to prohibit styling by id … just that you would
probably have to use the full id (with the parent path) instead of the local
one.

The idea where we abandon or even do not allow styling css through the "id"
is something which I would definitely not give +1. Styling by "id" it's
something so common in HTML world - doesn't matter whether it's bad, people
are doing like that, framework are doing like that etc. I'm not sure why we
are trying to complicate so much everything. The only thing which we need
for sure is some "localId"/"mxmlId" or something like that which allow us
use many id with same value in multiple views.
Maybe there are scenario where need to be also done some automatic
generation for main "id" when we are using "localId"/"mxmlId" but yeah, even
without that we can live better than currently is. Let's have simple option
to see how it's working - than go farther.
