Hey folks,

A while back, I updated BlazeDS in a branch to use Jakarta EE, the
successor to Java EE. Major Java servers have migrated from Java EE to
Jakarta EE, and existing BlazeDS releases are no longer compatible with
these new server versions.

While Adobe donated some samples, we never actually included any in our
releases. To eliminate the need for a Flash runtime, I created/ported some
sample projects that use Royale instead of Flex. They will run in any
browser.

Finally, I created a new ApproveBlazeDS.xml Ant script to help make testing
release candidates easier for PMCs. So even if you don't use BlazeDS, you
can at least test that it builds on your machine, and that the samples work.

I'd like to release BlazeDS 5.0 soon (increased major version because
of the Jakarta EE migration). If anyone wants to get something into this
release, let me know. If you use BlazeDS in real world projects, and you
want to do some quick tests before the RC, that would be great too. If I
don't hear anything, I'll probably prepare the first release candidate some
time next week.

Thanks, everyone!
