Hi Mikhail, Thanks a lot for being interested in contributing! Connectors are crucial to Flink ecosystem, the contribution is more than welcome.
Right now there are some ongoing changes to the way we manage Flink connectors. The basic idea is to maintain the connectors separately from the Flink core repository. The discussion thread can be found below. https://lists.apache.org/thread.html/c306b8b6d5d2ca071071b634d647f47769760e1e91cd758f52a62c93@%3Cdev.flink.apache.org%3E Following this strategy, the suggested process to contribute the connectors would be 1. Setup a public project repository (e.g. a repository under https://github.com/oracle) 2. Put the Streaming and Object Storage service code there. (You will have full control on the code. We are happy to help review the connector code if that helps). 3. Add the connector information to https://flink.apache.org/ecosystem. (The connector information will later be migrated to our ecosystem website when it's ready for easier search and contribution). Please let me know if there are any concerns or questions.
