    Hi Jeremy,

Could you add a link to the previous discussion?

And you would need to first create an account at
    https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence .

    Thank you~

Thanks Martijn, I would love to help out building a template for new connectors.

Could you kindly give me edit permissions on the confluence space?

My username is jeremyber.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Hi Jeremy,

Adding a new connector requires a FLIP
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/FLINK/Flink+Improvement+Proposals.
I would like to work on getting a template FLIP for new connectors, so perhaps
we could work on this together?

Best regards,

Martijn

Hi Martijn,

I have got the core functionality down, and in the process of writing tests.
Currently the connector only supports POST requests, but with the OS community
it could easily be adapted for GETs, PUTs, DELETEs, etc.

How would I get started towards getting this reviewed and under the apache org?

Hi Jeremy,

Thanks for reaching out. This sounds like a promising addition!

How far are you in the process of building the connector? We're currently
working on externalizing the connectors which are currently hosted in the Flink
repository to their own individual repository. You can look at the
Elasticsearch connector as an example (though still a work in progress), see
https://github.com/apache/flink-connector-elasticsearch. This would likely
also be something that we would want to achieve with your contribution.

Hi Arvid,

I’m a Specialist Solutions Architect at AWS and I’m looking to open source a
connector for Apache Flink.

This connector will asynchronously deliver data to any HTTP endpoint such as
Amazon Lambda or a generic REST endpoint.

What is the process for submitting this connector for review?
