Hi Danny,

I'm wondering if it makes more sense to start with version 3.0.0 (like we
did with Elasticsearch) to avoid possible confusion about a Flink 2.0
release. I have no strong opinion on that topic though.

+1 for the plans otherwise. For my understanding, that would imply that
before the Flink 1.17 release you would move out Amazon Kinesis Data
Streams + Firehose from Flink, correct?
