Hi Devs / Xuannan Su, I am interested in the JSON_STRING functionality mentioned in FLIP-521 regarding the integration of the Variant type into Flink.
I am currently working on a feature related to building dynamic ingestion pipelines in SQL, and this functionality would be beneficial for that project. Additionally, I am looking into further features around the Variant type, specifically regarding AvroToVariant and VariantToRowData conversions with custom input RowType schema. I would like to discuss and contribute to these tasks if they are not already in progress. Could you please let me know the current status of these items ?
