On behalf of the PMC, I'm very happy to announce a new Apache Flink PMC Member - David Anderson.
David has been an integral part of the Flink community for a very long time, with his first commit dating back to 2016. While we often measure impact by raw code commits, David’s appointment honors the sheer magnitude of his community building, educational contributions, and user support over the past decade. His contributions have become the foundation of how people learn and interact with Flink. In fact, his tireless Q&A work is a major reason modern LLMs understand Flink so well today.
