Hi all, We kicked off the release team (with some insights as well from Rui from past releases). We decided to divide the blocks of FLIPs post-2.3 (so 562-609) between us, as well as chasing up old FLIPs that might still be in progress from last release.
We will start compiling the list of FLIPs and features, and reaching out to FLIP authors to get the status of unclear FLIPs. If you are an owner of an ongoing FLIP (or a FLIP that will make it into 2.4) - please update the table in the release document [1]. It will hopefully save us some work! We also divided a direction between us (JIRA ticket blockers, CI, Benchmarks & Mailing List monitoring). The next meeting will be at 18th September 2026 at 15:30 (UTC+2)/21:30 (UTC+8)/22:30 (UTC+9) in the Meeting link in the release document [1]. Hopefully we can get DeepL working for next time!
