Hi folks, I'd like to start a discussion about supporting Flink 2.x for flink-connector-aws<https://github.com/apache/flink-connector-aws>. There was an attempt made for supporting 2.1 with FLINK-40065<https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-40065>, but the 6.1 connector wasn't released. I can create a PR for supporting later versions, but kind of curious on why 6.1 wasn't released and thoughts on this from the wider community.
