Summary: Improve validation error message when source doesn't have
any configured channels

The error message isn't very clear today when the source doesn't have a
channel. Also, it should log as ERROR, not WARN
This is the error I am getting due to lack of any channels on my source:

Removed src-0 due to Failed to configure component!
