kasa v varun commented on FLUME-2061:
-------------------------------------
Using the file prefix option and escape sequences with interceptors, i'm able
to bucket the data in HDFS according to my requirement. But my problem is the
timestamp that is being appended to the HDFS file name. Is there any way we can
stop for that timestamp being generated in the filename?

> While using HDFS location as a sink and the files get transfered to that sink
> location, the name of the final file which gets stored in HDFS would be
> something like <HDFSFilePrefix>-<timestamp>.
> Is there any way in which we can give custom file names to the final files
> getting stored in HDFS?
