Try few things 1. Take thread dump and see what threads are doing, are they stuck on something 2. Check network using nmon or tool of you choice 3. Restart the Agents and see if it starts working again 4. Run an iperf test between the machines for 2-3 hours
IMHO, use process of elimination to narrow down on issue. Try these hopefully you can narrow down on the issue.
