The problem is that the creation of the Initial Context in doConfigure does not
allow for authentication to the JNDI connection factory. Additional
configuration properties are required as shown below:
contextProperties.setProperty(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL,
this.userName.get()); //Create new
property for JNDI username
contextProperties.setProperty(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS,
this.password.get()); //Create new
property for JNDI password
contextProperties.setProperty(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION,
"simple"); //Create new property
for JNDI Authentication mechanism
contextProperties.setProperty(javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_PROTOCOL,
