TestLifecycleSupervisor has a bunch of Thread.sleep calls (which might be
excesive for some systems or insufficient for others). This makes
TestLifecycleSupervisor tests unnecessarily slow.
Also, it contains too few assertion, so the actual behaviour is not tested.
