Hm. AFAIK, the only other options would be 'ssl' & possibly 'external' for an 
ldaps url. I'm unfamiliar with how that is used in practice, but it wouldn't 
hurt to expose the option with 'simple' as the default. Does anyone else have 
thoughts on making the properties javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_AUTHENTICATION 
& javax.naming.Context.SECURITY_PROTOCOL configurable?
