At the last board meeting a resolution was approved to merge the Apache Flume project into the Apache Logging Services project. Several of the Flume PMC members have joined the Logging Services PMC as part of this.
The primary impact, at least initially, will be to the mailing lists. Logging Services uses a single development list at d...@logging.apache.org <mailto:d...@logging.apache.org> for discussion on all of its subprojects. Our plan is to ask the ASF Infra team to move all subscribers of this list to hat one and we would like for mail sent to dev@flume.apache.org <mailto:dev@flume.apache.org> to redirect to the Logging Services dev list. Initially we do not plan to change the flume users list but it may end up being rehomed at flume-u...@logging.apache.org. Any changes made to the users list will be announced before they happen.
