One of the articles you linked mentioned that not having a bio was suspicious to search, so I created a bio. The article said it may take a few days for the profiles change to propagate to search. Also my account is new and does not have many follower, which the article mentioned. As an experiment, yesterday I created a test tweet to #apachefluotour w/o a link. This tweet showed up in search. I tried creating another link with a link to the gist, this did not show up in search. Josh tried creating a test tweet with a link to the gist and #apachefluotour. His link showed up in search. So I suppose twitter trust Josh more than me. We both deleted our test tweets.
