Hi Fluss Community,

The Apache Fluss Project Management Committee (PMC) has invited Hongshun Wang
to become a committer and we are pleasure to announce Cheng Wang as a new Fluss
Committer.

Cheng Wang's contributions can be traced back to June 2025, and has been making
active contributions to Fluss project ever since.
His work has primarily focused on the lakehouse components—including support
for Lance, Iceberg, and Paimon formats—spanning feature development, bug fix,
and website maintenance.
In the upcoming 0.9 version, he is leading the implementation of two important
features: auto-increment column support which already been accepted and the
streaming KV scan RPC.

In addition to his technical contributions, Cheng Wang has been actively
involved in community activities. He helped arrange a Fluss presentation for
the CMU Future Data Systems Seminar, authored articles on the LanceDB website
to promote Fluss-Lance integration, and translated the three-chapter series
<Understanding Apache Fluss> by Jack Vanlightly into Chinese to help broaden
its reach.

Please join us in congratulating Cheng Wang for becoming a Fluss Committer!

Best regards,
Yuxia
