We are pleased to announce that Mehul Batra has joined the Fluss PPMC
("Polding Project Management Committee"). Since becoming a committer
in July 2025, Mehul has demonstrated exceptional commitment to both
technical excellence and community growth, consistently embodying the
Apache Way through mentorship, transparent collaboration, and
ecosystem engagement.
His contributions include organizing monthly community calls,
promoting Fluss through global speaking engagements and technical
blogs, envisioning the Fluss x Iceberg 2026 Roadmap, and driving
FIP-20 (Change Data Feed) from design to release. With 30+ merged pull
requests, 40+ code reviews, and active participation in release
management, Mehul has proven his ability to balance engineering impact
with community leadership. Please join us in warmly welcoming him to
