I don't know about the javascript installer sorry.
The "download" link probably expects people to know
to do Right-click=>Save As... etc. We should explicitly
say that.

Just add "fixme" notes to our tools/forrestbar.html
By assisting people to use it, someone will get
encouraged to fix it.

Perhaps the forrestbar.xpi on the website needs to regenerated.

The reference to Gump was so that people could get
an up-to-date version. However, the source was not
changing enough to warrant that. Also Gump doesn't
often get around to building our projects.

Just the new. Can you send a patch to the existing trunk?
If not, then zip it all up, add to Jira, and someone will
