Thorsten Scherler commented on FOR-797:
---------------------------------------
We should remove following contracts:
content-feeder.ft -> this is actually a feed2htmlSnippet contract but to clumpsy
content-main-lenya.ft -> obsolete
content-include-html.ft -> obsolete, can be done with genericXhtml
content-ls-contracts.ft -> never used
Was this the contract which displayed a list of available contracts
(standard and custom) ?
yes, but IMO that is not really suitable since the descriptions are
quite big.
Why do you ask, do you think we should keep it?
If your are talking about the content-ls-contracts, I think it was very
nice and useful to have an automatic generated documentation of every
contracts available for a project.
It was also interesting to generate the page and include it in the
forrest site - in the dispatcher documentation - just like we do with
the DTDs.
I don't understand your comment "that is not really suitable since the
descriptions are quite big." What do you mean ?
Do you mean that descriptions in existing contracts are too long because
of the use of ls-contract ?
Salutations,
Cyriaque,
I will not remove it for the moment.
Thanks for the feedback.
