Because someone needs to deploy unversioned plugins and the main thing is that
we need to test their download. I don't know how. Perhaps we need to wait until
0.8 is released. Or perhaps someone could follow the release process
instructions to build themselves a private release candidate and use that for
testing.
Thanks for the clarification David. That makes sense.
I'll try and build a test deployment early next week.
