I reckon one reason was that we hadn't done the whiteboard plugins. Perhaps
that can be part of the checks done when we move such plugins to core.
We discussed this and agreed that whiteboard need not be done, wither
nobody is using them in 0.8 so they do not need updating, or someone
will update them to work with 0.8.
We also agreed that nothing would come out of the whiteboard without
having the locationmap work done.
Perhaps we can change the download mechanism to refuse to install 0.77
plugins in 0.8.
