compiling of plugin's java was subsequently fixed. So the comments about
PersistentImageReader might not be the actual problem that was originally
reported.
Yes, sorry I should not have been doing quick tests of Jira Issues whilst
testing an RC. That Java Issue has now gone away, but thumbs are still not
being displayed, even though thumb views are being displayed when browsing
the folder in Windows.
Like I said in the issue, because Thumbs.db are being specifically excluded
then I can't now see how this would be affecting the problem experienced
by Windows users.
It has nothing to do with Thumbs.db, the thumbs are being created by the
image reader, there error is almost certainly in there, as Tim pointed out.
