Sorry for not being reponsive enough. Still recovering from the flu and
having a lot on my plate.

Image loading has indeed changed in FOP 0.95. That's why the error
messages can be different (hopefully more useful, too).

I have no clue as to how the FOP upgrade can trigger that NPE. I thought
it had something to do with the Cocoon version change, but apparently
that's not the case. Shall I revert the FOP upgrade?
