The code isn't legacy, the document format is simply dated. If the code still works fine and is appropriate for that older format, then it probably shouldn't be marked deprecated either. The whiteboard seems inappropriate too - seems almost counter-intuitive to put it there since whiteboard is generally for development work. Maybe we ought to have another plugins directory called 'dormant' a la Commons[1] as a nice place for old, working plugins to go for retirement? --tim [1] - http://commons.apache.org/dormant/index.html
