I finished more or less the rewrite and need some tester. ;) just do: cd whiteboard svn switch http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/forrest/branches/dispatcher_rewrite Then seed a project, activate the dispatcher plugin (only org.apache.forrest.plugin.internal.dispatcher is left!) and you should be ready to go. Today I did some stress testing and the rewrite is as nearly as fast as the old one (yes it is weired that is not faster since we do not use DOM anymore, but seems AXIOM is even slower). However I still need to profile the memory usage since this should be much lower with the new version. In any form you will find the code much clearer and well "documented" (I used lots of comments). There is another not yet activated feature: java contracts. The new version is ready for java contracts (we just need to implement an example).
