/Voila ;) J'espère que ça va t'aider ! Il faudrait ptet aérer les

accueillir la conf' (en te lisant, ils ont apparemment donné le feu vert!)

Key Question
============
In 200 words or less, answer this question:
* Why is your location and the date you propose the best for the
OOoCon 2006?
Locating OooCon 2006 in France will present several advantages for the
overall community.
France and particularly Lyon, is a nice town situated in the middle of
our contry (well approximatively ;)
Our group has a large community of users and contributors and is a
strong member of the NLC.
More than seven ministries have now engaged their migration on
Openoffice.org or planed to adopt it. Major administrations like
Direction Générale des Impots (taxes), Gendarmerie, Ministry of
Culture are working with OOo the product, but also the community in
contributing several documentations and tools. Lot of hospitals,
schools and universities, town hall are using OOo on a day to day
basis, sometimes as big as Paris town hall !
If our community is formed by a large base of professionnels, it is
represented also by some OOo specialists like consultant agencies,
developers or trainers being activly part of the project.
Outside the community several organization like Addulact
http://www.adullact.org/ Mutualibre http://www.mutualibre.org/ , April
http://libresoftware.educ.april.org/ are strong opensource software
supporters and promote our project through their actions. This
represent an interresting exchange between several model of
communities and bring valuables transversal inputs.
As for Lyon, it's a very nice town, subscribed to the Humanity
Patrimony by UNESCO, very modern and well equipped though, it has all
the required infrastructures for that kind of events (several
universities, conference centers, special pass for transportation...).
This is not very far from Germany, and our Hamburg team will find it
easy to attend, but also quite central in Europe for several
countries. Please have an overview of Lyon visiting this site
http://www.lyon-photos.com/
or the City site, where you'll find information about Lyon history,
culture, actuality :

Lyon is also a wellknown place for gastronomy, what about spending an
evening all together in a famous « Bouchon » ?
The conference will be arranged in INSA, one of the top French
engineering universities, INSA Lyon (Institut National des Sciences
Appliquées de Lyon), multidisciplinary and international, is at the
heart of the European Higher Education Area. Also accomodations (rooms
for 2 persons) are available at 5 minutes by foot.
