Hi, It was quite good to see Open Office on the Google Summer of Code mentor's list. Needless to say surfing on your ideas page made me understand what great opportunity the tabbed document windows held for Open Office and also Linux. Open Office being the most preferred Office suite on Linux today , such an important developement means more use of it which would even make it more preferred than MS Office making Linux as more preferred OS also. Your comparison with Mozilla indeed suits it well. Needless to say I am very much interested in this project and would love to make my own open office better. here is my proposal.

It would be a useful and pathbreaking feature in this field, as it being a new feature so far seen only in browsers. The topic of my Project is "Teleoperation in Haptics" which is to say making the communication between 2 haptic devices better.
