Hi Sophie,
the redesign of the Customize-Keyboard-Dialog is already in work. At the
moment we're collecting all ideas and wishes to write the specification.
We couldn't reduce the buttons because we needed the space for other
languages (strings in Portuguese-Brazilian are very long). But we will
change it in the redesign.
I will include your questions and hints to my collection.
