No, it doesn't *prevent* us (and I also didn't allege that is did), it's
just one thing that must be fixed in case we change the path settings
for dictionaries and so it is part of the problem why we didn't do the
desired changes already.

The idea is to have a common path setting for all kinds of dictionaries
and also to get rid of the dictionary.lst. AFAIK this would create a
problem for DictOOo that needs to be fixed. Again: this does not prevent
us from doing changes, it only explains why we didn't do the changes
already.

Nobody was talking about "faults". DictOOo is not at fault at all. I
hope you understand the difference between doing something wrong (being
at fault) or relying on something that is subject to change and so being
part of the effort that is necessary to finally make the change (being
part of the problem).

I also wrote that you are committed to work with us to overcome the
hurdle (as you already wrote that to me). But it's still a hurdle. We
can't change the path settings for dictionaries without your support.
That is one of the three explanations I gave why we didn't do it already
in OOo2.1 where we changed all the other path settings.

Does that explanation make things clearer?

Ciao,
Mathias

Please don't reply to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
I use it for the OOo lists and only rarely read other mails sent to it.
